Meet Kate Forster,
Senior Manager, Health and Social Policy
Kate is a leader in health, with a decade of experience in senior and executive roles across community services, aged care and public health sectors. She joins the Equity team from the NSW Health Sector, bringing deep knowledge in population health, strategic partnerships, government affairs, financial and capital planning.
Kate has led transformative social and economic initiatives, including working with non-government organisations to deliver an increase in social and affordable housing, and with research institutes to respond to environmental impacts on population health outcomes.
In her executive leadership roles, Kate oversaw strategic and clinical service planning, cross-sector collaboration, and financial sustainability endeavours. She is known for her strategic lens and delivery focus, working closely with executive teams, boards, and community to shape policy and drive impact.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Macquarie University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Leadership and Management from UNSW.
