Classroom volunteers helping children reach their potential: a study of community education volunteers program

Summary

Equity Economics worked with the Ardoch Youth Foundation to deliver an evaluation of their Community Education Volunteers Program. The program operates in schools to help disadvantaged children reach their potential.

Equity Economics conducted original research,  including surveys of teachers and volunteers, to deliver a comprehensive study of the program to ensure effectiveness and inform future investments. 

Working closely with the Ardoch team, Equity Economics has provided Ardoch with a unique insight into the role volunteers can play in schools. The report is informing future programs and advocacy activities. 

The report attracted national and local media coverage and featured on ABC News.
