Domestic Policy

Equity Economics works with not-for-profit, community and government clients on persistent social and economic challenges facing Australia with the aim of helping our clients contribute to a more inclusive, equitable society. We work across family, education, health, housing and gender policy, with a focus on social inclusion, reducing inequality and closing the gap.

Our expertise includes economic analysis, policy advice, research, advocacy and strategy. Drawing experienced economist and policy analyst from across the most senior levels of the Australian Government, including the Federal Treasury, Department of Finance and Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Equity Economics is able to provide a range of services to our clients.

Equity Economics aims to provide organisations with access to the skills and expertise they may not otherwise have available in-house but require to deliver effective strategies and influence policy debates.

Equity Economics works with development partners to solve some of our region’s most complex problems. Our team has deep knowledge of international development and hands-on experience, and we work with teams on the ground to ensure our projects reflect local knowledge and experiences to maximise impact.  

Our diverse team is united by a passion for inclusive growth, equality of opportunity and stronger bilateral and multilateral relationships, to bolster development and shared prosperity in our region and internationally.
